Back in December I, along with a few fellow bloggers, journalists and chefs were interviewed for a TV program focused on the Michelin Guide for Hong Kong and Macau. As some of you are aware, I do have a thing or two to say about this publication, and not all of them flattering.
Over the last two weekends, Quest For Stars aired on LiTV, which is carried by nowTV here in Hong Kong. Siren Films, the producer of the show, has now uploaded the two episodes in 6 segments.
I appear both episodes and come out swinging hard in Episode 2. Also watch out for my friends Samanta from WOM guide, Amy from the Wall Street Journal and Jason Bon Vivant in the show.
nicely put, good job. kudos! ^^
ReplyDeleteyour blog must be getting a lot of attention if the spammers are hitting you now!
ReplyDeleteEric, I have been getting the occasional promotional message for a while now.
ReplyDeleteI don't think too many people watch LiTV... no discernible increase in traffic since the program aired...
i'm interested to know how they first contacted you... and what your first reactions were when they decided to ask your opinion about the michelin guide. did they email you? must be a pretty flattering feeling, eh?
ReplyDeleteActually they contacted a friend of mine who did not wish to participate, and suggested that they contact me instead.
ReplyDeleteI've been pretty vocal about Michelin and it's been discussed ad nauseum locally. I know quite a few others who were interviewed for the program, and many of us share the same opinion. I think it's a good opportunity for us to give some feedback, although I would have thought Mssr Naret and his people would have heard about the local opinion by now. Whether he gives a damn is a different matter...
